I was thinking today about how I usually make menu plans for the week based on what I have at home to use, but right now I have nothing. Usually when I go shopping I can't indulge myself by getting too many things based on recipes and instead go for what's on sale or what I can make the most out of or is most basic needs. Just for fun I think I will make my menu plan backwards, based on what I would like to have and then maybe try to get the ingredients for as much as possible. It's not like they will be very fancy things, and I haven't really been grocery shopping in a while.
Monday- lasagna, green beans
Tuesday- chicken with herbs, mashed potatoes
Wednesday- bean salad (chickpeas with vegetables), rolls
Thursday- shrimp skewers, cous-cous
Friday- steak, caesar salad
